Children in 3C have shared some of their highlights of their trip to Whipsnade Zoo

Yesterday, Year 3 went to Whipsnade Zoo for a school trip! We saw the cheeky chimps, lovely lemurs and a rolling otter. I really enjoyed the trip! My favourite part was seeing the lemurs sleeping.

Yesterday, I went to Whipsnade Zoo. I saw 3 giraffes while we were up high observing them! We observed a giraffe named Bashu. We had a timer and every 15 seconds, we had to check what he was doing at that time. I also saw penguins and emperor penguins! Some were swimming, others were waddling and others were picking at their feathers with their beaks. We had so much fun!

On our trip, we started off by going to see the chimps! We learnt about how clever they are. There was a lady who did a big talk about the chimps. They are so clever and they know how to open cans! Can you believe that? Next, we went to see the bison. I took a look and they were fed a lot! Because of this, they were very big and a bit stinky! Next, we went to see the penguins. We saw two different types and they were so cute! We did a giraffe workshop to learn about how they eat and behave. I really enjoyed my trip.
