Through the NHP Foundation, we place community at the heart of our school.
The NHP Foundation is a registered charity (no. 1132512) set up in 2009, with the following mission: to honor the core values of the school by serving our diverse local community in ways that enhance and improve the lives of primary school-aged children.
This is achieved in two interconnected ways:
- Through our Bursary Programme, from which we award fully-funded, means-tested bursary places at Notting Hill Prep. We view the ability to award these transformational bursaries as the most significant and lasting societal contribution we can make as a school.
- Through Radius, our community partnerships programme, aimed at local primary schools and charitable organisations, with a focus on improving and enriching the lives of primary-school aged children.
We rely on the contribution of our amazing parent community to deliver on our objectives, with donations fully funding all our work.
Each year, we need to fundraise to meet the costs of our Bursary and Radius programmes. Please support our work with a donation which can be either one-off or regular. The costs required for one bursary pupil per year is £20,000. This includes not only fees, but all extras such as uniform, trips, residentials, music lessons and termly clubs to ensure our bursary award holders experience an NHP education the same as their peers.
At NHP, we are lucky to have an incredible Parents Association. The PA organise a number of events throughout the year from Christmas and Summer fairs to quiz evenings. These events raise money for the NHP Foundation and we could not continue our work without them. If you would like to enquire or find out more about the PA, please contact admin@nottinghillprep.com FAO: The PA.
If you have a question or would like to discuss any aspect of the Foundation’s work please get in touch with Imogen, Head of School Development, on imogeng@nottinghillprep.com.
