To finish their week learning about ecosystems and the evolution of species, Year 1 enjoyed a trip to Regent’s Park Zoo. They worked their way through the 755 species of animals that the Zoo has to offer, which helped them to understand the importance of animal welfare and taking care of the environment in a real life context.
The pupils and staff (and our lovely parent volunteers) finished the day off with a picnic on the grass to enjoy the beautiful sunshine. Our Year 1’s had a blast, and we can’t wait for the rest of the trips we have planned for them this year!
